TENDER

Sarir Oil Operations Company intends to conduct a pre-qualification process for specialized companies licensed to practice medical insurance services and has the desire to provide health insurance services by contracting with Islamic joint insurance (Takaful) for Sarir Company employees and their families inside and outside Libya.

Accordingly, we invite specialized local and international medical insurance companies that has at least 3 years in the Libyan market and has a valid practice license, competence, financial and human resources necessary to provide these services and wish to participate in this work to fill out the attached letter of Intent form along with the required documents stated below.

The medical insurance company intends to participate in the pre-qualification is expected to have the competence to provide medical insurance to the company’s users and their families (their number is about 2,785 beneficiaries), along with any other medical services requested by the Sarir Oil Operations Company in the geographical coverage areas covered by the insurance cover, which are divided into:

• First region: Libya
• The second region: all countries of the world except for the United States of America.

Documents to be submitted for participating in the pre-qualification process:

1.  Letter of intent to participate in this bid (attachment #1).
2. Submit all the legal & Finance documents referred to in the document attached to this announcement (attachment #2).
3. Submit required documents and comply with the obligations defined in the attachment #3.
4. Submitting a deposit of (LYD 50,000) fifty thousand Libyan dinars to be paid by a Certified Check upon submission of the offer in a separate envelope that is subject to return in the event that the bid is not awarded to the bidder, issued by one of the banks operating in Libya for the benefit of Sarir Oil Operations Company, or paid under a letter of guarantee document upon submitting the offer is valid for a period of (6) months from the date of bid submission, issued by a first-class international bank.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• SOO reserves its right to reject any and/or all companies at its sole discretion. Such act by SOO shall be final and shall not be contested or challenged by any participants.
• The company will deal only with the persons officially authorized by the companies applying for pre-qualification.
• The company has the right to extend the pre-qualification period for another period of time if necessary, provided that the additional period is automatically announced on the company and National Oil Corporation websites.
• All costs of whatsoever nature incurred in the preparation and submission of the documents, including visits, if any, incurred in connection with this invitation, shall be borne by companies intended to participate in the prequalification process and tendering process (if qualified) and will not be claimed under any circumstances.

Participation:

• The last date to receive the documents is 28/04/2022 at 12:00 pm, local time. Accordingly, all interested contractors should submit the required information not later than the above-mentioned date. Any document submitted after this date will be disregarded.

• The documents are to be submitted in one hardcopy to be hand delivered to the company address and another electronic copy (in a hard support) or by email prior to the specified deadline date, to the following address:
